FBNS Takes On Medford

We were blessed last week to have a mission team from First Baptist North Spartanburg come and serve here in Medford. Forty-two people including adults and kids came and spent their spring break here with us. From giving out granola bars to serving at the Boys and Girls Club the team was amazing. They handed out 12,ooo granola bars/gum and invite cards to our launch service, which is this Sunday, April 1oth. They also worked hard at the Boys and Girls club. From painting, to cleaning, to tutoring to leading games, this team was awesome! We had a blast with them and were so thankful they were here. We got to spend time with some good friends, the Strouds as well as Jon's aunt Pat. We also made new friends that we are so thankful for and were blessed by. The kids even got to enjoy the pool a couple of times!

Playing in the gym...my kids LOVED going to the Club and playing last week!
My sweet new friend, Carrie...I was so very encouraged by her last week. She is a great example of a Godly woman, wife and mom. I loved hanging out with her and her family. What a sweet blessing to have this wonderful woman as a friend. I'm thankful for her and that the Lord lead her here to spend spring break!
