Christmas Eve

We headed to Clemson to spend Christmas Eve with Jeremy and Liz. We always enjoy this time with them. It is fun to share in Christmas traditions together. The Finleys joined us on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed Christmas goodies, hot coco, the Christmas story on the felt board, Happy Birthday Jesus cake, A Charlie Brown Christmas and the kids opening one gift. Carson, Bryn and Lydia got their Christmas pjs...a tradition of theirs and Ava opened a Christmas book for her and Emet which is one of our Christmas traditions. We do love our time with Jeremy and Liz and spending Christmas Eve and Christmas with them was a blessing!

Jon told the Christmas story on the felt board.

The kids sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus...

and blew out the candles on the "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake!

I read the book we gave Ava and Emet to Ava, Bryn and Carson before bedtime.
Our sweet girls...this was before we had "meltdowns" trying to put them to bed in the same room. Ava ended up on the floor in our room.
