The Journey Continued...

After leaving Hickory we went to Durham for a few days. Our few days were very busy though! Jon preached 3 services at Ridgecrest on Sunday morning. The kids and I went to Ridgecrest and Gorman. We had Sunday lunch with Don and Scarlet then headed to the Faircloths for a youth reunion pool party! We enjoyed lunch with the Murrays on Monday and Jon passed his PHD comps Monday as well! Monday night Jon preached at Ridgecrest again and then some friends came over to Don and Scarlet's for ice cream and to just catch up. The kids enjoyed the hot tub while they were at Nana and Papa's too! What a great visit...too short, but we are thankful for the time we had!

Thank you to the Faircloths for having us over and to everyone who came to hang out. It was great to see our friends from Gorman and to then have the afternoon to just spend time together! We love and miss you guys!
