Move to Medford!

It has taken me a while to get this up and posted...but I'm trying to catch up and here is an attempt! Three weeks ago today we made our move to Medford, Massachusetts. It was a whirlwind trying to pack and making our trip up...but we had the blessings of good friends and family to help us! Thanks to everyone for your help with our move. We are truly blessed! Here is a recap of our first few days in our new home...a huge thanks to Amy for making the trip with us, staying for a few days...and wanting to come back! (We are secretly hoping she will decide to come to Boston if she doesn't go to India...although, if the Lord wants her in India, we want her to be there!) Love you Amy!

Our loaded truck...Ben, Brittney, Chelsie and Money Mike are posing with our truck...which we crammed even more stuff into after this pic was taken!
About to pull out of Don and Scarlet's driveway
So tired...it was early!
Excited about Boston!
Ava and Amy at Yale...we spent the night in East Haven, CT
before driving into the city.
Driving into the city!
Cool Bridge
(This is out of order...I couldn't move it and just gave up trying.)
We ate dinner at Louis Lunch in East Haven, CT. This is the spot of the very first hamburger...it has been featured on the food network. The hamburgers here are amazing!
At our new place!
A mess of boxes!
More boxes!
At least we got everything out!

Of course on the first day Amy had to buy the kids ice cream from the ice cream truck. It comes by daily and the kids can hear it from a few blocks away...guess what they keep asking for!?
In bunk beds!
Emet's first time in a big boy bed...he has done great!
She loves being on the top bunk!
We went into Boston for a day with Amy...what a fun day we had!
Emet wanted to give the drummer money...we saw him twice in different places and Emet went up to him both times! He kept asking for money to put in his bucket!
Sight seeing in Boston
Amy, Jon and Emet outside of Quincy Market

Amy took the kids with her on a Duck Boat tour...they loved it! This is a view from the boat!
They love Amy (or Lucy as they like to call her)!
Miss Ava...and Emet
Gotta love this picture!
They had a blast!
Even had money to tip the driver!
Jon and Ava dancing on the dock by the Charles River
She was knocked out...but Emet was still going strong!
We love you Amy!
Thanks for helping us settle in and make our move! You are the best!

Sisters are amazing! My sister flew with us out to Colorado last weekend so we could have an extra set of hands. And she (along with my parents) was a HUGE help while we were out there. We never would have lasted on that flight without her!!
