Gymnastics Class

One of the highlights of our week is taking Ava to gymnastics. She absolutely loves her class. It is a parent and toddler class. I usually take the class with Ava, but due to a case of pink eye, we thought it would be best if Jon took my place last night. When I told Ava Daddy would be doing gymnasitcs with her she said, "take pictures." So of course, that is what I did. Here are some pictures of Ava's favorite things. She especially likes the trampoline, tumble track, and pit!

Hill Ridge Farms with the Richesons

We went to Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville with the Richesons last week. Ava and Isaac enjoyed exploring the farm, going on a hayride and picking out a pumpkin. Melissa and I had a great time watching them play and discover things together. Caleb and Emet enjoyed their stroller rides!

State Fair Fun

We always enjoy going to the North Carolina State Fair. We haven't missed a year since we have been married. Last Monday, we made our way to the fairgrounds for our annual trip!

Believe it or not, this was Ava's 3rd trip to the fair. Emet, of course, made his first trip. Ava had a blast and was excited about everything going on. She even picked the rides she wanted to go on. Of course she had to ride the choo-choo train. It was the first thing she saw that she wanted to ride. She loves trains, and seeing as how we have one running through our back yard, she has reason to!

We had a great time and enjoyed spending the afternoon together!

Starting a Blog...

Thanks to Amy I am officially starting a blog. Amy, this is for you (and everyone else who wants to know what is going on in our family). I hope you enjoy it!
A couple of weeks ago my friend Tracey came for a visit. We had a great time catching up and spending time together. We were able to get out and about while she was here and took the kids to Pullen Park in Raleigh. Ava loved it. She especially had a good time on the train and boats. Even after we left she couldn't stop talking about them!
